Hey, everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates on this blog. I'll try and give a quick summary of what I've been up to and where things are at. As you can see on the top bar, the game has been retitled from Yobidasu to Erayobi, which originally came from this post. There's several reasons for this change, but the most important one was that I wanted a title with seven letters. You can compare the old and new logos below: Over the last month and a half, I got in touch with five different artists, including two highly experienced background artists, Karel Kok and Quandial, the latter of whom finished his part just yesterday. Yikes, that sentence had too many commas for my liking. Anyway, I'm really excited that his part is complete, so here's some tiny previews: Uwaa, what is this place?? Are we still in Aikure City? A few weeks ago, I shared some sprites on Twitter from my talented artist Rouxby (@b_untea). Rouxby's currently reshading those sprites, but I'm planning to follow up with a few character showcase posts on this blog if possible. Right now, I'm planning to release a demo on itch.io on June 7th. The project page is still under construction, but you can view a draft here. If everything goes smoothly, I'm hoping that I might even be able to release as early as late July! ...Well, that's the best-case scenario, at least. Anyway, that's all for tonight. Seven Tailed Fox, signing off!
